 The Viper Pipes muffler has been purpose built to increase the performance of your motorcycle powered race car.  The muffler has been designed to fit over any 2” diameter header or tail pipe and features a welded tab for easy installation.

After spending time on the dyno with several different mufflers the VPR's design won out producing more horsepower than the competition.

Viper Pipes are available in multiple lengths from 6 inches to 16 inches. (size represents the length of the canister, not the total length from tip to tip). They are available in 1-3/4 and 2 inch slip fit models.

Viper Pipes lightning sprint muffler

The Viper Pipes VPR muffler is designed to deliver economy and performance.  It features a cone shaped core that transitions from 2 inches at the inlet to 2-1/2 inches at the outlet to maximize both scavenging and airflow characteristics.



 

  Although we can't reveal all the Viper's secrets, the perforated core that transitions from 2 inches to 2-1/2 inches at the outlet is one of the big reasons.  You will also notice that the end caps are shaped different than the competition--it's all about creating the proper balance of airflow and scavenging to maximize performance across the entire power band.  It is also designed to meet most tracks decibel (db requirements) rules.

The VPR is constructed of mild steel including a perforated core and steel packing.  The core is encased in 4" diameter 16 gauge aluminum core that is held on with high quality stainless steel rivets.  The muffler comes with a stainless steel barrel clamp that is specially designed to get the job done.  Standard worm gear clamps just don't perform.

Viper Pipes mufflers are designed for use in all forms of motorcycle powered racing including but not limited to upright mini sprints, dwarf cars, modified midgets, tq midgets, micro sprints and much more.  Viper Pipe mufflers have been installed on several brands of chassis including Bailey, ERC, FOZ, Henchcraft, Stewart, Doemelt, Revolution, Shark, Eagle, PMP, Stealth, Bishop, Hawk, Factor 1, Hyper, Sawyer, Stallard, Concept, XXX and others.
